THE SECOND CALLING

THE LAST
DRAGON
COVENANT

One dragon survived the end of an age.
The rest became myth.

THE SECOND CALLING HAS BEGUN
BEFORE DRAGONS BECAME MYTHS

I — BEFORE DRAGONS BECAME MYTHS

A thousand years ago,
dragons were not myths.

Humanity and dragonkind shared the same sky. The world had not yet learned to fear what waited beyond it.

Neither was the Void.

I
THE FIRST BREACH

01 — THE FIRST BREACH

Humanity met the Void alone.
And began to lose.

Rifts opened above the first kingdoms. The creatures that emerged adapted to magic, returned after defeat, and consumed everything left behind. Fortress after fortress fell; humanity retreated faster than it could build new defenses.

And beyond the creatures, something far greater was beginning to stir.

01
THE FIRST COVENANT

02 — THE FIRST COVENANT

The dragons understood
what humanity had not.

As kingdoms collapsed, dragonkind recognized the truth: the Void had not come to conquer humanity. It had come to consume the world itself. Dragons entered the war and forged the First Covenant with mankind. Those who fought beside them became known as Keepers.

For the first time, the world fought as one.

02
THE LAST WAR

03 — THE LAST WAR

Together, they still
could not stop it.

For a time, the Covenant held. Then the Void changed. Every battle taught it how to fight them. New breaches opened faster than old ones could be sealed. At last, the will behind the invasion revealed itself: the Sovereign beyond the Veil.

Dragons and Keepers committed everything they had left. It was not enough.

03
THE LAST FLAME

04 — THE LAST FLAME

They could no longer win the war.
They could only end it.

When the Sovereign began to cross the Veil, the Dragon King accepted what neither race had wanted to face: no army could defeat the Void. The remaining dragons gave up their life essence, and he gathered an entire dying race into one final spell.

The world survived. Dragonkind did not.

04
Aurelith protected by the Dragon King's final shield as dragonkind is consumed by the Last Flame

05 — THE LAST SHIELD

One dragon was
forced to remain.

In the final instant, the Dragon King spent the last of his power on a single exception. Aurelith watched the others rise toward the Flame while his shield closed around her.

She witnessed the extinction of dragonkind.

05
Young Aurelith, wounded and sleeping at the heart of the sanctuary, surrounded by the six final dragon eggs

06 — THE LONG VIGIL

She returned wounded.
She remained to guard what was left.

Aurelith dragged herself back to the sanctuary, where its ancient magic kept her alive. Around her rested the last six eggs left behind when dragonkind marched to war.

For a thousand years, she kept the last bloodlines alive.

Aurelith looks across the cloudbound Aerie as a violet fracture reappears in the Veil

07 — THE FRACTURE

A thousand years later,
Aurelith saw it return.

The Aerie had been silent for a millennium. Then a violet fracture opened above the clouds—the same wound she had watched consume her kind.

The Void had found the world again.

07 / 08

08 — THE SECOND CALLING

KEEPERS.
IT IS TIME TO RETURN.

Across forgotten ruins, the marks of the First Covenant begin to answer again. A call once shared by dragons and humans has crossed a thousand years.

The first covenant saved the world. The second has yet to be written.

THE LAST BLOODLINES

Six bloodlines. Six ways to become a dragon.

A bloodline is not a skin. It is the inheritance that shapes how a dragon grows, survives and changes.

Not every dragon returns unchanged.

Some who venture too far beyond the Veil do not return unchanged. What returns may bear the mark of a forbidden seventh form.

IT LEARNS.

KEEPER IDENTITY

YOU ARE NOT
THE DRAGON.

YOU ARE ITS KEEPER.

The first Keepers were human. They stood beside dragonkind when the world began to break. The Second Calling does not ask you to own a creature. It asks you to bind your fate to one.

Hatching, growth, battle, and consequence do not belong to only one side. You and your dragon will carry that bond together.

ACT IV — THE VOID RETURNS

The Void was driven back.
It was never destroyed.

The Last Flame severed its connection to the world. It did not kill what waited beyond the Veil.

Now the fracture is open again. The Voidborn are gathering on the other side.

AND SOMEWHERE BEHIND THEM, THE SOVEREIGN IS AWAKE.

RAVENER

Voidborn · Predatory Infantry

They were born in fractures between worlds—the first hungry outriders to cross the boundary. They do not probe, and they do not stop. They tear, consume, and deepen every breach they enter.

Keepers learned to name such things only so their shapes, habits, and weaknesses could be remembered. A name does not make them gentle. It only lets us recognize danger sooner.

More Voidborn await revelation.
Beyond the fracture, there are other forms not yet shown.
